公園内にはインフォーメーションセンターがありましたが、オフシーズンのため閉館中。

オタワ川を見渡す場所にベンチがありました。

そして島を散策。

道を進むと一軒の家がありました。普通にここに住んでいるようです。

さらに奥に進むと、、、

野生動物を見る小屋があります。

さらに奥に進むと、木の根元がこの有様です。よく見るとそこらじゅうの木の根元がこのような状態でした。

そして、これは？？？まさにテレビで見たあの動物、ビーバーの仕業でしょうか？

そしてコレは？？？

数本の木は、金網が取り付けられて、かじられないようになっていました、

そして川の向こうに見えるのは、、、、

もしや！？と思い、追いかけます。妻も必死に追いかけたところ、妻の顔つきに変化が、、、

陸に上がった貴重な瞬間を見た妻が見たものは、、、、
かわいらしい平べったい尻尾ではなく、ネズミの尻尾でした。

気を取り直して、車を進め、Rocklandに到着。
