ブルックリン橋を通過・・・フランクリンＤルーズベルト Dr.を北上。

右手はロウアー・イーストサイドにあるEast Village。ポーランド、ロシア、ウクライナなど東ヨーロッパからの移民が多く住むエリア。

右手はEast Riverの向こう側に、クイーンズ、ブルックリンの町並みが見えます。

さらに北上して、道を間違う。

高速道路の出口を間違え、Bronxへ・・・すぐに引き返し、East Ｈａｒｌｅｍ地域へ入る

写真右上は5th Ave.のドンツキです。公園を回り込み更に続いているそうですが、

実際にはここで、かの有名な５番街の通りは終点。

Harlemの近くになると、ティファニー本店がある同じ道路とは思えないくらい寂しい印象です。

5th Ave.を南下、右手にセントラルパークが・・・・
