朝一番で、オタワ市役所に自動車免許を申請に行き、そのまま妻を職場に送る。
そのまま始めていく図書館へ。
車で移動中の道程に、カナダでも有名な高級住宅街・ロッククリフがあります。

そして見晴台からは、ロッククリフの中でもベストポジションを占めるアメリカ大使公邸（写真・最下）があります。ほかに日本大使公邸など多くの大使公邸が軒を連ねています。
そして、すぐそばにはカナダの迎賓館・リドーホールが・・・。
